Memorial Day Free Concert in Legion Park

The United States Air Force Heartland of America Band’s outstanding popular music ensemble, Raptor, will present a FREE concert at the American Legion Memorial Park Band Shell on Monday, May 28th at 7:00pm to commemorate Memorial Day. This family friendly concert is FREE and open to the public!

With a wide musical variety of popular favorites ranging from rock-n-roll classics through the popular music of today, Raptor showcases the Air Force’s excellence, precision, and innovation in every performance. Highlights will include songs made famous by Janis Joplin, Journey, Keith Urban, and Justin Timberlake. The program will also include well known patriotic favorites, with a special salute to the men and women in uniform and those who have selflessly given their lives for our country.

Band Bio:
Raptor, the commercial music ensemble of the United States Air Force of America Band, is stationed at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. Raptor performs high energy music from a variety of genres and their dynamic stage presence enables them to tell the Air Force story to audiences of all ages.
Through the popular music of today to rock ‘n’ roll classics to patriotic favorites, Raptor showcases the Air Force’s excellence, precision, and innovation in every performance. They are committed to inspiring our American public and honoring our nation’s veterans through the incredible power of music. In addition to enhancing community relations and supporting the recruiting mission of the United States Air Force, Raptor also deploys to support our service members and collaborate with U.S. Embassies to share American culture and build lasting international partnerships. No matter the venue, these talented Airmen musicians proudly represent the more than 660,000 Air Force professionals around the world who relentlessly protect and defend the freedoms we cherish.
