The Mayor and City Council of the City of Auburn will meet in Special Session on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. at City Hall.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Mayor and City Council of the City of Auburn, Nemaha County,   Nebraska, will meet on the 24th day of September, 2025, at 5:00 o’clock P.M., in the city council chambers, for the purpose of holding public hearings, open to the general public.

 

  1. Announce – “I am required by law to inform the public that a copy of the Open Meetings Act is posted on the North wall of these Chambers by the entrance door.”
  2. Roll Call
  3. 5:00 P.M. – Public Hearing on the proposed One and Six-Year Plan for Street Improvements in the City of Auburn.
  4. 5:00 P.M. or as soon thereafter as possible—Public Hearing on the FY 2025-2026 Budget
  5. 5:05 P.M. or as soon as possible after allowing all comments on the budget hearing-Public Hearing to set Final Tax Request
  6. Adjournment.

A Special Meeting of the Mayor and City Council, open to the general public, is hereby called to be held at the City Hall on the 24h day of September, 2025, commencing immediately upon adjournment of the preceding public hearings which will begin at 5:00 p.m. and will continue until all attendee testimony has concluded to obtain public comment on the One & Six Year Plan for Street Improvements in the City of Auburn, the proposed 2025-2026 budget and setting of the final tax request.
