Auburn BPW Water Update

WATER UPDATE

With rainfalls exceeding normal levels, our aquifer has recharged, and we are back to normal operating
conditions. We would like to thank the community for their diligence during the last year. BPW understands that conservations efforts are inconvenient and appreciate everyone who took measures to make sure our water supply remained viable. We recognize that water is not something to be taken for granted and how quickly sources are depleted. BPW will continue to work hard to ensure all our customers have access to clean water.

We are moving forward with the Longs Creek project, which will provide us with an additional water source. The goal is to take pressure off our existing wells. The Board continues to be active in the process of locating alternate forms of water resources, in addition to researching long-term solutions.

Information will continue to be posted at https://auburnne.gov . Any questions can be answered by contacting the Auburn Board of Public Works at 402-274-4981 and asking for General Manager Ray Luhring or Water/Wastewater Manager Alan Slater.
