2nd-6th Graders
Due to submitting league fees and teams, the registration deadline is a hard end date. Exceptions will not be made. If your child is not signed up by the deadline they will not be eligible to play. Registration is due December 9th.
The registration fee is $60 and we will play in a Lincoln league. Games will be in the Lincoln area..
Please keep in mind that for girls 4th-6th grade there are 2 sessions available and each will require their own registration fee. Girls in 2nd/3rd grade will only play the second session with practices in the first session. Only one fee is required since games are played only during one session. Register Here
Auburn City Rec Youth basketball will provide a fun and recreational activity that allows girls to participate and learn the fundamentals of basketball. Our goal is to provide each player with a positive learning experience.
Our plan for the season is to practice a few times per week, and then play on the weekends. Depending on your daughter’s grade will depend on what day they will play on.
Equipment:
Players are required to have basketball/indoor shoes. Please bring a water bottle! Uniforms tops and shorts will be provided. The supplied uniforms will
be required for all games.
Practice and Game Schedule:
There will be 2 separate sessions for Girls Basketball and will require 2 different registrations if looking to play both sessions. Session 1 will play
games from October 28th – Dec 17th in Lincoln. The second session will be in January-March.
Girls in 2nd/3rd Grade will only play second-session games however practice will begin during the first session. Only one registration is
required.
Girls in 4th-6th grade will have the opportunity to play both sessions if participation numbers are high enough for each session.
The coach will schedule practices.
Coaches: If you are interested in coaching, please select coaching options when registering online. Coaches meeting will be held in early October.
Parents:
Once the coaches meeting takes place, your daughter’s coach will contact you. This will be the first notification you receive after signups. Please, if you
have not heard from a coach by November 15th call the Commissioner.
Tournaments: Each grade division will attempt to play at least 2 tournaments in addition to the league. We hope to host a local tournament in January 2024
Photos: We will offer a team photo night. Ordering is always optional.
